Fair, free and documented participation
These Official Event Rules apply to Omega Startup Summit 1.0, organised by Omega Offset Printers at Takyel Khongbal Branch, Imphal, Manipur.
Registration is free. No purchase improves an applicant’s chance of selection. Only startups on the frozen Final Eligible List participate in the documented live winner-selection process.

Purpose of the Summit
Omega Startup Summit 1.0 is organised to:
- Improve startup knowledge and management
- Connect entrepreneurs with resource persons and institutions
- Create awareness of financial and technical assistance
- Promote professional branding and packaging
- Encourage ERP, inventory and workflow management
- Showcase startups from Manipur
- Provide networking and media exposure
- Document a complete startup rebranding transformation
One startup selected through the published live winner-selection process will receive a customised professional branding and rebranding service package worth up to ₹5,00,000.
Free Registration and No Purchase Requirement
Registration for Omega Startup Summit 1.0 is free.
- No purchase from Omega Offset Printers is required.
- No application fee, ticket fee or draw fee is required.
- Buying printing, packaging, signage or other services from Omega will not improve an applicant’s chance of selection.
- Applicants must not pay any influencer, agent, reviewer, employee or third party who claims to guarantee eligibility or selection.
- Every Final Eligible startup will receive one valid entry in the live winner-selection process.
The programme operates as a free promotional startup-development initiative, not as the sale of lottery tickets. No purchase, application fee, ticket fee or draw fee is required, and every Final Eligible startup receives one equal entry under these Rules and applicable law.
Acceptance of the Rules
An applicant accepts these Rules by:
- Creating an applicant account
- Selecting the acceptance checkbox
- Submitting an application
- Uploading documents
- Participating in screening
- Attending the summit
- Accepting a participant pass
- Participating in the live winner selection
- Accepting the winner or reserve position
- Participating in the rebranding programme
Applicants who do not accept these Rules should not submit an application.
Applicant Eligibility
An applicant must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be a founder, co-founder, proprietor, partner, director or authorised representative
- Have authority to submit information on behalf of the startup
- Provide an active email address and mobile number
- Provide accurate information
- Comply with verification requirements
- Accept the official declarations
- Be available to attend required summit activities
- Be available for the rebranding programme if selected
Eligible Startups
Eligible applicants may include:
- Idea-stage startups with a credible and workable concept
- Prototype-stage startups
- Pre-launch businesses
- Newly launched businesses
- Early-revenue startups
- Home-based businesses
- Student-led startups
- Women-led startups
- Rural enterprises
- Social enterprises
- Manufacturing businesses
- Food and agricultural enterprises
- Handloom and handicraft enterprises
- Technology startups
- Creative and service businesses
- Existing micro or small enterprises launching a new product
- Existing enterprises undergoing major brand transformation
The startup should be based in Manipur or demonstrate a substantial business, founder, production, customer or operational connection with Manipur.
Business Authenticity
Every application must represent a genuine:
- Business
- Enterprise
- Product
- Service
- Prototype
- Launch-ready concept
- Commercial activity
The applicant may be asked to provide evidence such as:
- Registration documents
- Product photographs
- Prototype photographs
- Workplace photographs
- Customer or sales evidence
- Business licences
- Social-media activity
- Website
- Packaging
- Pitch deck
- Production records
- Other relevant evidence
Idea-stage startups must provide enough information to demonstrate that the concept is genuine and reasonably capable of implementation.
Ineligible Applicants
The following persons are not eligible to enter the winner-selection process:
- Omega employees directly responsible for administering the summit
- Members of the screening administration team
- Persons operating the draw system
- Persons authorised to alter the Final Eligible List
- Influencers directly administering the selection
- Independent witnesses to the draw
- Immediate family members of persons who directly control screening or winner selection
- Persons submitting an application on behalf of a startup without authority
- Applicants below 18 years of age
A person may attend or contribute to the summit in another approved role without entering the winner-selection process.
Ineligible or Prohibited Activities
Applications may be rejected where the business involves:
- Illegal goods or services
- Fraudulent investment or earning schemes
- Counterfeit or stolen products
- Serious intellectual-property infringement
- Unlawful gambling
- Exploitation or trafficking
- Violent extremist activity
- Unauthorised financial services
- Deliberately deceptive or harmful products
- Activities prohibited by applicable law
- Content presenting a material public-safety risk
Omega may request clarification before making a final decision.
Registration Period
Registration opens on 20 July 2026 and closes on 20 September 2026.
An application is considered submitted only when:
- All mandatory fields are completed
- Required declarations are accepted
- Required documents are uploaded
- The applicant selects the final submission button
- A submission reference number is generated
Saving an application as a draft does not constitute submission.
Omega may extend the deadline through an official public announcement. Individual private extensions will not normally be granted.
One Application per Startup
Only one application may normally be submitted for each startup.
Submitting multiple applications for the same business to obtain additional entries is prohibited.
Where the same founder owns genuinely separate businesses, separate applications may be considered if each business has:
- A separate identity
- Different products or services
- Distinct operations
- Independent supporting evidence
- Separate application information
Omega may merge or reject duplicate entries after verification.
Applicant Account
Applicants must:
- Create their own secure account
- Keep passwords confidential
- Protect verification codes
- Use accurate contact details
- Update contact information when necessary
- Avoid sharing access with unauthorised persons
- Notify Omega about suspected account misuse
Applicants are responsible for reviewing notices displayed in their participant dashboard.
Omega will never ask applicants to provide their account password or one-time verification code through an unofficial channel.
Application Information
The registration form may collect:

Applicants must ensure that all information is complete and accurate.
Supporting Documents
Applicants may be asked to provide documents appropriate to their business stage, including:

- Business licence

Submitting false, forged, altered or stolen documents may result in immediate disqualification.
Preliminary Screening
Preliminary screening will take place from 21 to 30 September 2026.
Screening may include:
- Application-completeness review

- Startup-authenticity review
- Document verification
- Product or service review
- Duplicate detection
- Social-profile verification
- Conflict-of-interest review
- Summit-availability confirmation
- Rebranding-readiness confirmation
Screening is intended primarily to determine eligibility and authenticity. It is not a subjective competition to identify the “best” startup.
Screening Decisions
Possible application statuses include:
- Draft
- Submitted
- Under Review
- Correction Required
- Resubmitted
- Further Verification Required

- Waiting List

Only startups receiving Final Eligible status may be included in the live winner-selection process.
Correction Requests
Omega may request correction or clarification where information is:
- Missing
- Unclear
- Inconsistent
- Unreadable
- Incomplete
- Potentially duplicated
- Unsupported by the uploaded evidence
Applicants must respond before the stated deadline.
The original submission will remain preserved. A corrected submission may create a new application version.
Failure to respond may result in the application being declared incomplete or ineligible.
Further Verification
Omega may conduct additional verification by:
- Telephone
- Video meeting
- Physical meeting
- Business-location visit
- Review of original documents
- Product-sample inspection
- Contact with a registration authority
- Clarification from founders or authorised representatives
Applicants must cooperate with reasonable verification requests.
Duplicate and Risk Flags
The screening system may compare:
- Startup names
- Founder names
- Email addresses
- Mobile numbers
- Business-registration numbers
- Tax identifiers
- Addresses
- Websites
- Social-media profiles
- Uploaded files
- Product photographs
- Business descriptions
A risk flag does not automatically establish fraud. The applicant may be given an opportunity to provide clarification.
Conflict of Interest
Applicants must disclose any close personal, family, financial or professional relationship with:
- Omega management
- Summit organisers
- Screening reviewers
- Draw operators
- Influencers directly participating in draw administration
- Independent witnesses
- Persons authorised to approve the Final Eligible List
Disclosure does not automatically result in disqualification.
Failure to disclose a significant conflict may result in rejection or disqualification.
A reviewer with a conflict must not decide the affected application.
Final Eligible List
Following preliminary screening:
- Approved startups will receive Final Eligible status.
- Each Final Eligible startup will receive one unique anonymised draw ID.
- Duplicate and unresolved entries will be removed.
- The final entry count will be recorded.
- The eligible list will be frozen.
- A secure list export will be generated.
- A SHA-256 or comparable cryptographic file hash will be recorded.
- The frozen list will be preserved for audit.
Once frozen, the list may not be silently changed.
Any authorised reopening must preserve:
- The previous version
- Reason for reopening
- Name of the approving officer
- Date and time
- Changes made
- Revised count
- Revised file hash
Summit Attendance
The summit will be conducted at the Omega Offset Printers Takyel Khongbal Branch, Imphal, Manipur, from 9 to 11 October 2026.
Participants must:
- Carry their summit pass or QR code
- Provide identity verification when requested
- Wear their badge
- Follow entry and security procedures
- Attend mandatory briefings
- Respect staff, speakers and participants
- Follow safety instructions
- Avoid restricted areas
- Avoid obstructing emergency routes
- Protect event property
- Follow the published code of conduct
Attendance requirements for Final Eligible startups will be communicated before the summit.

Omega may make reasonable changes to speakers, sessions or timings where operationally necessary.
Live Winner-Selection Process
The winner will be selected from the frozen Final Eligible List.
The process will include:
- Display of the final eligible count
- Identification of the frozen-list version
- Display of the file hash
- Public generation or announcement of a random seed
- Use of documented deterministic selection software
- Selection of one Provisional Winner
- Selection of reserve startups
- Witness confirmation
- Recording of the process
- Generation of a result report
- Signing or authentication of the result record
The same eligible list, seed and published algorithm version must reproduce the same ordered selection result.
The exact software version, seed procedure and number of reserve entries will be approved and published before the draw begins.
Role of Influencers and Hosts
Influencers or media personalities may:
- Promote the event
- Present the programme
- Explain the selection procedure
- Participate in generating the public random seed
- Announce the selected draw ID
- Interview the Provisional Winner
They may not:
- Add or remove eligible startups
- Select a preferred startup
- Alter the software
- Alter the random seed after execution
- Access private applicant information without authorisation
- Influence screening decisions
- Accept payment from an applicant for favourable treatment
Provisional Winner
The startup selected first will be announced as the Provisional Winner.
The Provisional Winner must complete final verification, which may include:
- Identity confirmation
- Startup-ownership confirmation
- Document verification
- Conflict-of-interest review
- Confirmation of business authenticity
- Acceptance of the winner agreement
- Confirmation of availability
- Tax-compliance requirements
- Media and rebranding consent
The Provisional Winner is not finally confirmed until Omega issues written confirmation.
Reserve Startups
Reserve startups will be selected during the same documented process.
A reserve may be activated if the Provisional Winner:
- Fails verification
- Withdraws
- Cannot participate
- Refuses the winner agreement
- Has submitted materially false information
- Is disqualified
- Does not respond within the stated verification period
Reserves will normally be considered in the recorded selection order.
Rebranding Package
The confirmed winner will receive a customised professional branding and rebranding package worth up to ₹5,00,000.
Possible components include:
- Business and brand audit
- Market and competitor research
- Brand strategy
- Name or tagline refinement
- Logo and visual identity
- Brand guidelines
- Packaging and label design
- Printing and packaging production
- Signage and display
- Product photography
- Promotional video
- Marketing materials
- Social-media branding
- Website or landing page
- Basic business-system support
- Documentary coverage
- Final reveal
The winner will not automatically receive every item listed.
Nature of the Package
The package:
- Is provided through services and production support
- Is not a cash prize
- Is not ordinarily redeemable for cash
- Cannot be transferred without written approval
- Cannot be sold
- Cannot be used for unrelated personal expenditure
- Is subject to an approved scope
- Is subject to a maximum package value
- Must ordinarily be completed by 31 January 2027
- May include internal and third-party costs
- May exclude statutory fees, licences, registrations and major civil work
Unused value will not be paid in cash.
Package Allocation
The package value may be allocated between:
- Strategy
- Design
- Packaging
- Printing
- Signage
- Photography
- Video
- Website
- Marketing materials
- Business systems
- Project management
Omega will maintain a project scope and value ledger.
The allocation may be revised according to business needs, subject to:
- Written approval
- Available balance
- Production feasibility
- Project deadline
- Package conditions
Work exceeding the approved package may require a separate quotation.
Tax Responsibility
The winner is responsible for taxes, declarations and compliance legally applicable to the package.
Omega may:
- Request PAN or other tax information
- Deduct tax where legally required
- Request proof that applicable tax has been paid
- Delay release of deliverables until required tax compliance is completed
- Issue applicable tax documentation
Omega will apply the withholding, reporting and documentation requirements legally applicable to the in-kind service package. Required tax compliance will be completed before affected deliverables are released.
Winner Responsibilities
The winner must:
- Nominate one authorised decision-maker
- Attend onboarding and strategy meetings
- Provide accurate business information
- Provide product and legal information
- Review concepts and proofs
- Consolidate feedback
- Approve work within agreed deadlines
- Cooperate with photography and filming
- Permit agreed workplace access
- Cooperate with printing and installation
- Follow the approved project scope
- Avoid unreasonable delays
- Complete the programme by the deadline
Failure to cooperate may result in suspension or cancellation of uncompleted services.
Design and Production Approval
Before printing, fabrication or publication, the winner must approve:
- Names
- Spellings
- Contact information
- Product details
- Ingredients
- Quantities
- Licence numbers
- Regulatory declarations
- Logos
- Colours
- Dimensions
- Materials
- Artwork
- Proofs
The startup remains responsible for the accuracy and legality of product information supplied to Omega.
Changes requested after written approval may:
- Delay production
- Reduce the remaining package balance
- Require additional payment
- Require a revised delivery schedule
Intellectual Property
Applicants confirm that submitted material:
- Is owned by them; or
- Is used with appropriate permission.
Applicants must not submit:
- Stolen photographs
- Copied logos
- Unlicensed artwork
- Infringing packaging
- Confidential material belonging to another business
- False endorsements
Rights in final rebranding deliverables will be governed by the winner agreement.
Rejected concepts, unused drafts, licensed fonts, stock assets, software and third-party materials may remain subject to separate ownership or licence conditions.
Souvenir Magazine
Registered or approved startups may be invited to submit material for the souvenir magazine.
Inclusion may depend on:
- Publication consent
- Complete content
- Editorial approval
- Image quality
- Submission deadline
- Available space
- Compliance with content standards
Omega may edit submitted text for:
- Grammar
- Length
- Formatting
- Clarity
- Consistency
Material changes should be sent to the startup for approval before final printing where practical.
Photography and Video
The summit may be photographed, recorded and livestreamed.
Coverage may include:
- Stage sessions
- Audience views
- Startup displays
- Networking
- Interviews
- Winner selection
- Souvenir distribution
- Rebranding activities
- Final transformation reveal
Separate consent may be requested for:
- Close-up interviews
- Testimonials
- Commercial promotional content
- Rebranding documentary
- Workplace filming
Applicants must not photograph or publish private application records, identity documents or restricted administrative screens.
Privacy and Personal Data
Personal data will be processed for purposes such as:
- Registration
- Account management
- Screening
- Communication
- Pass generation
- Attendance
- Winner selection
- Verification
- Souvenir publication where consent is given
- Rebranding management
- Security and record keeping
Public information will be limited to content approved for publication.
Private documents and internal screening notes will not ordinarily be displayed publicly.
Personal-data processing will be governed by the website Privacy Policy and applicable Indian data-protection law. India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act establishes a framework for lawful processing of digital personal data, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 provide phased operational requirements.
Promotional Accuracy
Omega, its partners and participating influencers must not:
- Describe the package as ₹5 lakh cash
- Guarantee business success
- Guarantee funding or loans
- Guarantee government assistance
- Guarantee inclusion in the draw
- Hide important eligibility limitations
- Misrepresent sponsors or institutional participation
- Publish a Provisional Winner as finally confirmed
- Make claims that cannot be supported
Public advertisements should clearly communicate the nature, scope and conditions of the package. India’s consumer-protection framework regulates misleading advertisements and provides mechanisms for consumer grievances.
Code of Conduct
Participants must not:
- Harass or threaten another person
- Discriminate against participants
- Damage property
- Disrupt sessions
- Enter restricted areas
- Interfere with technical equipment
- Manipulate the draw
- Attempt to bribe staff or reviewers
- Record private documents
- Publish knowingly false information
- Use another person’s badge
- Create a safety risk
- Promote unlawful goods or services
Omega may remove a participant from the venue for serious misconduct.
Grounds for Disqualification
An applicant may be disqualified for:
- False information
- Forged documents
- Duplicate manipulation
- Identity mismatch
- Misrepresentation of ownership
- Undisclosed material conflict of interest
- Illegal business activity
- Attempting to influence screening
- Attempting to interfere with the draw
- Offering money, gifts or benefits for selection
- Threatening organisers or reviewers
- Failure to respond to verification
- Refusal to accept the winner conditions
- Inability to participate in the rebranding programme
- Material breach of these Rules
A disqualification decision should record the reason and approving authority.
Review of Screening Decisions
Where permitted, an applicant may request clarification or review of an eligibility decision.
The request must:
- Include the application reference number
- Identify the disputed decision
- Explain the alleged error
- Include supporting evidence
- Be submitted within the stated deadline
A review does not guarantee reversal.
The review process cannot be used to submit an entirely new application after registration closes.
Technical Failure
If the website experiences a confirmed system-wide failure, Omega may:
- Extend a deadline
- Reopen an affected form
- Provide an alternative submission method
- Restore data from backup
- Publish a correction notice
Ordinary individual internet, device or upload problems do not automatically justify a late application.
Applicants are encouraged to submit before the final day.
Draw-System Failure
If the live selection is affected by a material technical failure:
- No incomplete result will be treated as valid.
- The operator will stop the process.
- Witnesses will record the failure.
- Existing files, seed and logs will be preserved.
- A corrected or replacement draw will be conducted using a documented procedure.
- The reason and revised process will be publicly explained.
- The original failed attempt will remain in the audit record.
Event Changes
Omega may reasonably modify:
- Session timings
- Speakers
- Programme order
- Seating
- Venue zones
- Technical arrangements
- Livestream arrangements
- Hospitality arrangements
The event may be postponed, relocated, shortened, converted to a hybrid format or cancelled because of:
- Government orders
- Public-safety concerns
- Natural disaster
- Flood
- Fire
- Civil disturbance
- Epidemic
- Severe weather
- Power or internet failure
- Venue unavailability
- Other circumstances beyond reasonable control
Material changes will be announced through official channels.
No Guarantee of Business Outcomes
Participation does not guarantee:
- A loan
- A grant
- Investment
- Government approval
- Customers
- Sales
- Profit
- Incubation
- Market success
- Legal registration
- Product approval
- Social-media growth
Speakers and resource persons provide general education and guidance. Participants should independently verify legal, financial, tax and technical requirements.

Organiser’s Decision
Omega will make decisions based on:

Omega may consult legal, tax, technical or institutional advisers before making a final decision.
Nothing in these Rules removes any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes to the Rules
Omega may amend these Rules where necessary because of:
- Legal requirements
- Security requirements
- Technical improvements
- Operational changes
- Programme changes
- Correction of errors
Material changes will:
- Be published on the official website
- Show the revision date
- Be communicated to registered applicants where necessary
- Not be applied secretly
- Not be used to favour a particular applicant
Where a change materially affects an already-submitted application, applicants may be asked to accept the revised provision.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Rules are governed by the laws of India.
Subject to any mandatory statutory remedy or authority, disputes will ordinarily be subject to the competent courts and authorities having jurisdiction in Imphal, Manipur.
Severability
If any part of these Rules is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent legally possible.
Applicant Declaration
By submitting an application, the applicant confirms:
- I am at least 18 years old.
- I am authorised to represent the startup.
- My application information is accurate.
- My uploaded documents are authentic.
- I have not deliberately submitted duplicate entries.
- I understand that registration does not guarantee Final Eligible status.
- I understand that only Final Eligible startups enter the live selection.
- I understand that the selected startup is initially a Provisional Winner.
- I understand that final verification is required.
- I understand that the package is worth up to ₹5,00,000.
- I understand that the package is not cash.
- I accept the screening and selection procedures.
- I agree to disclose conflicts of interest.
- I agree to follow venue and conduct rules.
- I will cooperate with verification.
- I can attend required summit activities.
- I can participate in the rebranding programme if selected.
- I have read and accepted these Official Event Rules.
